Platform Features
The platform has been designed with you in mind for ease of use to connect educators to their students. By using Journalistic Introspection, Firewords, Progress Monitoring, and Parent/Guardian Companion Modules, we’ve made it easier than ever to support the whole child.

Journalistic Introspection
Open-ended question types prompt students to connect with the content learned and share their feelings. Using the medium of technology, students feel more comfortable providing honest responses relative to their mental health, giving the supervising adult insights into their students’ well-being.

Firewords
Through journalistic introspection students share how they are feeling. When words are written that would be evidence of harm to self or others, a supervising adult receives a real-time alert of the entry. Even if deleted, all Fireword text is captured for the supervising adult to review.

Progress Monitoring
Introspective journaling and Firewords allow supervising adults to effectively and relationally connect with their students. BASEline results coupled with responses to interactive question types in the modules provide the supervising adult powerful insight so they can easily understand where their students are to provide appropriate tiered support.

Parent/Guardian Companion Modules
Through parent and guardian companion modules, districts can provide foundational knowledge and skills to parents and students to create a common language that enhances parent/teacher conferences. The companion modules allow parents and guardians to connect with and understand their children on difficult topics.
