Charter School Curriculum
Families choose charter schools for the innovative curriculum, individualized attention, and supportive environment where students reach their potential. BASE Education can help you deliver on that promise with online, hybrid, and in-classroom mental health modules that enable you to get to know what your students are really thinking and provide customized lessons that meet them where they are. - Ability and willingness to be prescriptive and individualized
High School
BASE Education curriculum is appropriate for all students, not just at-risk teens. Research shows that when a student is mentally well, they are able to perform well in other aspects of their educational career. But too often students stay quiet about challenges they are experiencing, and educators don’t know that extra support is needed. The BASE platform provides progress monitoring and insight into what young people are experiencing; which helps educators to develop individual strategies and plans for student success. Clinically developed, BASE helps students achieve mental wellness so they are able to be the best students they can be.
Middle School
Social emotional competencies can be both protective and promotive, and a broad literature base demonstrates that student behavior and achievement is significantly affected by SEL skills. BASE Educator Guides provide developmentally appropriate lessons, activities, and discussion topics for middle school students.
Most modules have an instructional version option (for use in the classroom and small group settings), as well as a companion parent module. All modules are offered in a variety of languages. The modules are enhanced routinely to reflect the latest research results available. We add new modules regularly!
Elementary School
Built with our younger learners’ social and emotional needs in mind, all of our elementary SEL modules are clinically developed using therapeutic frameworks and evidence-based practices. Our modules cover current topics and are perfect for remote or in-person learning and are best for grades 1-5.
As with all of our modules, our elementary SEL modules are CASEL approved and evidence-based.
All modules begin with an engaging 3-5 minute video introduction, followed by simple and easy to use lesson plans for ideas in action. We offer age-appropriate lesson plans for grades 1-2 and grades 3-5.
