As a BASE sales representative, you will interact with school districts, their administrators, and teachers to position the only completely online capable solution to be approved by CASEL as a solution for improving student’s social/emotional health. National research suggests school districts offering SEL programs can improve academics, benefit as much as 11:1 on the dollars invested, help reduce poverty and improve economic mobility, and more. As an international pandemic continues, the need has never been greater for a focus on student mental well-being. Due to these factors, BASE is growing unlike it ever has!

About BASE

Social Emotional Learning Curriculum is our business and our mission.  We have been practicing the clinical psychology of students for decades. When designing our content, we use evidence-based practices derived from clinical foundations. The content is rigorously edited and approved by a panel of clinically licensed field experts.

A Day in the Life of the BASE Sales Representative

As a BASE Sales Representative you will be responsible for managing a territory’s sales to existing and potential partners. Realizing expansion opportunities exist within the large majority of our partners, you nurture existing partnerships with the intent to build on the existing sales. Understanding SEL is a hot topic on the minds of many school administrators, you prospect with confidence in knowing that you have what they need. From follow-up with existing partners to scheduling and conducting presentations with future partners, there is a variety of activities within your day. All of this activity is recorded within Salesforce with the knowledge that you help your teammates serve the customer better when they’re armed with this helpful background information.

Qualifications

  • Industry experience is a plus.  
  • Successful track record of achieving sales goals (individually or collectively)
  • Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills a plus
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to adjust to changing priorities
  • Collaborative team player able to drive towards personal success while understanding the working needs of your teammates
  • Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision.
  • SalesForce (or a similar CRM) experience required
